Great company. Although they never ended up repairing my car (it was deemed totalled by insurance and was sold to a salvage company), the entire team was professional and knowledgeable. I did manage to see the car after they disassembled it to assess the full extent of the damage. It was was done neatly and with attention to detail. They were also exceedingly helpful and went out of their way to help me retrieve personal effects, and describe the next steps in the process.

I can’t say enough great things about Ivan! From start to finish, he went above and beyond to take care of all my needs. His attention to detail, professionalism, and genuine care for his customers truly set him apart. I had an accident 12/5/24. I told my car to the body shop on the same day. Of course, i was told standard thingsWe will get ahold of ins. We will submit estimate. Then get with u regarding the estimate.Then the nightmare began. 5-6 supplementals to my insurance company. All to milk it. THEN I find out after they had my car for 3 damned weeks, they haven’t even ordered parts for my car. My insurance pays for 30 days of rental. They WILL NOT order parts for ur car until they have milked the hell out of ur insurance.THEN, I called Bill and he tells me that because my car is so new, my door is backordered with no ETA. I called rusty wallis and Honda of rockwall and was told the same thing. So, I called bill and asked why he hadn’t ordered a used door. He said, ‘oh, I didn’t know u wanted to do that’. I told him maybe he should have thought outside of the box. Of course, another damned supplemental, and possible delay getting my car back. I called my insurance company, they expedited the adjuster to get out there and that week. Meanwhile, I told Bill to order the damned door I would pay for it myself. He was going to charge me roughly $400. My insurance company paid double that. Milk. Milk. Milk. Milk.I told Bill I would be there Friday, January 31 by 5:00 to get my car. Bill kept saying that was the ‘target’ date. I said, NO, I WILL BE THERE ON FRIDAY BEFORE 5 TO GET MY CAR. Then Bill begins to tell me that they ‘need to send ur (my) car to rusty wallis to recalibrate it, like I told u before’. I said, actually, no u never told me this. But I will be ther Friday by 5 to get my car.My estimate was like 20 pages long. It included replacing my fuel pump since it was recalled. I specifically asked Bill on the day I picked it up if it had been replaced. He said it had.After receiving multiple recall notices regarding this, I decided to call rusty Wallis today. No. It was not replaced. This could literally cause me to blow up. But I was lied to. AND I have to have rusty Wallis fix my rear sensors because the right senses the left and the left senses the right.This place cost me more to rent a damned car for 2 months than I had to pay for my deductible.I would not recommend this place to my worse enemy. RUN. Call ur insurance company and let them recommend somewhere to fix ur car. Don’t go here. It’s all about the money. I could have paid the entire estimate out of pocket. But these people want to bleed ur insurance dry. Regardless of what the customer has to go through.

Payne and Sons was an excellent body and repair shop to work with. Everyone is so friendly and they do all of the work for you. So fast! I was really missing my baby and it was up and running before I knew it! Worked with Bill. He kept me updated on the whole repair process! Will definitely use themagain if I have any future problems. 🙂

I decided to check with payne and sons, for an estimate of work. Meanwhile, Travis took photos of my car, presumably to assess any damage or issues. However, even after three days, I still haven't received a quote from them. The lack of communication and the prolonged wait are making me feel uneasy and frustrated.Thought I called them on daily basis, I did not able to recevie a quote.I expected a much quicker response, or at the very least, an update on the status. This delay is not only inconvenient but also leaves me questioning their professionalism and reliability.

Payne & Sons did excellent work with my truck. The repairs made have resulted in the truck appearing as it did when new. I specifically would like to thank Bill for his patience with us and dealing with the insurance company (not a pleasant task). I couldn’t be more satisfied with their service. My husband and I would recommend Payne & Sons to anyone that has a need for paint and body work. Excellent work!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

If you own a Rivian, I hope sincerely you never need a body shop. But if you do, there is no better place to take it than Payne and Sons. Unfortunately, my R1T was hit and run back in December and I was left to navigate getting a really unique vehicle repaired. My insurance company (Geico) seemed to not really know what to do with my truck. They sent me to a reputable local chain, but they said they couldn’t even provide an estimate for my vehicle. I decided to contact the manufacturer and they sent me a list of certified body shops in Texas. There are only two in the DFW area, with the other being a franchise dealership. I took a gamble that a family owned company would be more likely to help me through this situation. Boy am I glad I did!From the jump I was given such a confident feeling that I was in good hands when the owner, Logan, called me to put me at ease. He stated they have gone through a training and certification process with Rivian and have repaired many of them. He also told me that given the complexity of these repairs he handles the entire process front to back! From there it only got better. Logan showed he valued my time by having me bring the truck out for the estimate, then told me since it was still drivable that I should keep driving it while he worked through the process of getting the necessary approvals from the insurance company, ordered the parts, and then scheduled the repair. Many other shops would have just had you drop your vehicle off and let it sit for that time period.Once it was time to schedule the repair, Logan called me and offered several options. I dropped my truck off and he estimated it would take 2-3 weeks. Throughout that time, he communicated several times to keep me informed of each step. After about 19 days, he called me to say it was complete! Nailed the estimate even with several supplemental requests and other parts that were needed!I showed up a little early for my scheduled pick up appointment and Logan was out of the office. No matter, though, his staff jumped on delivering my truck to me. Not only was the repair done at the highest quality imaginable, (I’ve been in the automotive business for nearly 20 years) but they detailed it and it showed better than the day I bought it!I cannot recommend Logan and Payne and Sons more for your body repairs. Best experience I could’ve asked for when it seemed this would be trickier than ever. Thank you, Logan!
